Strong Winds?

Forecasts of Strong Winds are keeping me in port, but they're not backed up by evidence; conditions have actually been ideal. For the previous two days 30 knots headwinds stalled plans for a seventy mile leg north. But yesterday afternoon, I saw a windsurfer struggling to get up on the plane and further offshore there were only scattered whitecaps. Not tough sailing conditions by any means.

So today, we have a new Strong Wind Warning, for Sou-Easterlies. But, yet again there is no evidence in reality!
